Morningside homes for sale

Since 1920, Morningside has been an independent village since it voted to secede from the suburb of Edina, Minnesota. It is one of the main stops along the Como-Harriet Streetcar Line and it is located between the Linden Hills neighborhood, which is part of Minneapolis, and the town of Edina. During the early years of the 1900s, hundreds of homes were built in the Morningside community – mostly single-family homes to accommodate the home owners looking for a place to move in the area. The Morningside community has a rich history in the Edina area. In fact, it is part of the Edina Historical Society. One of the organizations that has lasted since the community was established over 100 years ago is the Morningside Babysitting Cooperative, which keeps track of its members and the number of hours they spend performing child care for other members. The Morningside Woman’s Club and the Neighborhood Association are two more organizations that provide the unique needs of the surrounding community.
